Tom and Mark

Tom is studying Fashion Communication and Mark studies Fashion Design both at Northumbria University.

Tom works part-time at Topshop and Mark works at H&M.

Both Tom and Mark wear military/industrial boots, a key item for both men and women for a/w 10.

They love to watch Ugly Betty and enjoy going out.

Tom plans to travel after his degree and would like to finish in New York with a career in fashion.

Sarah

Sarah is currently studying Art & Design at Northumbria University and she loves it.

She purchases most of her clothing from H&M, Vintage and Charity stores.

She loves to read books and loves Harry Potter.

Audrey Hepburn and Lauren Bacall are her favourite actresses. She could watch any film with Cary Grant in.

Sarah wears short trousers a key trend for autumn/winter, she adds a uniqueness to her outfits, as she likes to wear bright colours which put her in a good mood.

Jason and Emily

Jason is studying Business and Emily is studying Photography both at Northumbria University.

Jason purchases most of clothing from All Saints and Topshop. Emily likes clothing from most places.

Emily loves to go shopping, she wears many items which are key a/w 10 items such as her aviator jacket and her satchel bag.

Emily likes to shop online too, on sites such as asos and net a porter. 'It can be easier and there is a variety of products available, unlike in some stores.'

James, Gary and Andrew

They all study at Newcastle University.

They shop at Union, Hollister, Triple S and Topman.

James and Gary particularly the geek chic style, whereas Andrew just likes to be 'comfortable so if what I am wearing is fashionable, it's just accidental.'

Gary wears Hush Puppy style shoes, perfect for a/w 10 trends, plus Andrew wears a tartan shirt.

April

April is a hairdresser.

She shops at most high street stores, the ones she most often purchases from are Peacocks, Miss Selfridge and River Island.

She wears a denim shirt, a popular must-have item for a/w 10, additionally she wears the animal print pattern, key to autumn/winter's trend patterns.

April loves Pixie Geldof.

She would love to style hair for designer campaigns and work backstage at fashion shows, styling hair and doing make-up.

Sam and Lucy

(Boyfriend and Girlfriend)

Sam is a Graphic Designer and Lucy is a Photographer.

Lucy purchases most of her clothing from H&M, Warehouse and Urban Outfitters. Sam shops at Zara, Vintage shops and H&M.

Sam wear Hush Puppy style shoes, a future trend and Lucy mixes Western style with Leather.

They both love watching films, old and new.

Sam and Lucy go to as many concerts and gigs as they can.

Lisa and Lydia

Lisa and Lydia both work for Fenwick.

They purchase most of their clothing from Reiss, Whistles, All Saints and KG.

They enjoy going out for nice meals and cocktails.

Lisa's favourite magazines are Vogue, LOVE and Vanity Fair. For Lydia, Grazia, Vogue and Elle.

Lisa loves Pixie Lott and Lydia loves Cheryl Cole.

Both Lisa and Lydia are wears numerous trends for a/w 10. Lisa wears leather leggings, additionally a fur coat and chunky jewellery, all on trend. Lydia wears nude shoes and jumper, another key colour for the season.

Niall

He works part time for Cancer Research, building awareness. Whilst studying Media Studies and Journalism at Northumbria University.

Niall enjoys socialising and meeting new people.

He purchases most of his clothing from Topman, H&M, Triple S and River Island.

Niall loves going to gigs with friends.

Niall wears nerd glasses, a current trend and wears a beanie hat a future trend for a/w 10.

He likes to clash his clothing with bright and dark colours, to add a fashion edge.

David and June

(Mother and Son)

June purchases most of her clothing from Whistles, Selfridges and Ted Baker. For David, All Saints, Topman and H&M.

June is a Vet and David is at university studying medicine, hoping to become a doctor.

David loves music, especially Kings of Leon for their laid back fashion style. Simple, comfortable yet fashionable clothing.

June enjoys going to the theatre, plays the piano and likes jazz music.

David wears one of the key essentials for men this autumn/winter - denim shirt. June wears western boots, the western trend being popular this autumn/winter season, with camel colours.

Karen and Rebecca

(Mother & Daughter)

Karen is a English teacher and Rebecca has just completed her degree in Business Studies.

Both of their favourite stores are Reiss, Topshop, Zara and Fenwick.

Rebecca loves Kate Moss' style.

They enjoy shopping together as they give each other ideas on what clothing to purchase.

Karen wears an animal print dress, animal print being one of the key pattern trends for a/w 10. Rebecca wears the colour camel, on-trend colour, as well as stripes.

Amy

She is a shop assistant at H&M and is currently studying Fashion Design.

Amy purchases most of her clothing from H&M, Primark and Topshop.

She likes the variety which H&M provide.

She gets most fashion ideas from fashion magazines, as well as window displays.

She loves Sarah Jessica Parker.

Amy is carrying a key accessory of a/w 10, the satchel handbag. Additionally coordinating it with her H&M scarf.
